Lavazza Experience

Central
c/o Nuvola Lavazza

The power plant c/o Nuvola Lavazza is the former Enel power plant and is located on via Bologna. It was built in 1897 by the Turin engineer Ermenegildo Perini for the Società Anonima Elettrica Alta Italia. The project by Cino Zucchi Architetti has recovered the building, whose approximately 4,500 m2 of surface area is intended for functions of public interest, and has enhanced its architecture, in particular the imposing Machine Hall.

The main body of the Centrale near Nuvola Lavazza has become a large flexible environment capable of accommodating up to 1,000 people for cultural, musical and artistic events and activities. The elevated space inside, independent and elevated, hosts two meeting rooms for a total of 220 seats.
